Christoph Haar has been CEO of Firian since September 2023. With his many years of experience in the process industry, he brings valuable expertise in leading agile organizations and efficient project management. His experience in various management positions in Germany, England and China enables him to develop solutions for internationally operating customers. This global perspective flows directly into the design of customer-oriented service offerings and the optimization of cross-border project processes.

CCO (Chief Commercial Officer)
Falk Ursinus has been responsible for Firian's commercial activities as CCO since April 2025, having previously held the position of COO since July 2023. With 17 years of industry experience, including eight years as Managing Director at Chubb Fire & Security Group Germany, he brings in-depth knowledge of the fire protection industry and thus ensures smooth processes in all phases of fire protection. His expertise in integrating companies and brands is invaluable to our growing company.

Jörn Appelkamp took over the role of COO at Firian in April 2025 and is responsible for the operational business areas. With his many years of experience in corporate development and international management, he brings in-depth expertise in the areas of business development, operations and strategic growth. In leading positions in the fire protection and process industry, he has demonstrated his ability to manage complex processes and build high-performance teams. His international experience, particularly in Europe and Asia, enables him to master global challenges with a strategic and hands-on approach.

Head of Corporate Development & Marketing / Confidant
Rita Orschiedt is responsible for the strategic development of Firian. Since joining in September 2024, she has reliably embodied change. She has implemented key initiatives to further develop the company culture and values, expanded the Project Management Office, leads the marketing department, and overseen acquisitions. She combines process expertise with a deep understanding of internal structures and employee needs; she knows the mechanisms that define Firian and shapes them sustainably. In June 2025, she was also appointed as a company liaison.

Head of Strategy and Processes - Fire Protection Systems
Since January 2025, Torsten Höhlriegel has strengthened the Firian team and is responsible for strategy and processes in plant engineering. With over 25 years of experience in the fire protection industry, most recently as Technical Managing Director and Regional Manager, he brings in-depth technical expertise and extensive leadership experience.
His focus is on the strategic development of plant engineering – with clear structures, efficient processes, and sustainable growth strategies. He works closely with management and the regional teams to strengthen the performance and future viability of Firian's plant engineering division.

Since April 2025, Daniel Sander has been responsible for Human Resources, Legal, Insurance, Mergers & Acquisitions, and ESGCR at Firian. As Head of HR & General Counsel, he reports directly to CEO Christoph Haar. With his many years of experience in various corporate functions and industries, he brings in-depth expertise in legal, organizational, and strategic matters.
A particular focus of his work is the close integration of compliance, risk management, and personnel development – with the goal of creating structures that foster trust, transparency, and growth.
